![]() Not all the huge jellyshrooms have eggs, but chances are good if you see a crab snake come out of that particular Jellyshroom, there’s an egg inside. It’s green with gasopod pods on it.Ĭrab snake - these are located inside the huge jellyshrooms in the cave by Lifepod 17. It doesn’t look like much from above, look for a horseshoe shaped step formation under the squad of gasopod. ![]() The nest is located about 300m NW of Lifepod 17 (the one by the Jellyshroom cave) you’ll know when you find it because about 10 gasopod circle the nest. Gasopod - these are surprisingly rare, but there is a gasopod “nest” that always spawns at least one. They’re kind of egg shaped and look like they have Creepvine seeds on them. It makes them easier to see when it’s dark in the murky water. Night time is a good time to look for these, as they are bioluminescent green like the Creepvine seeds are. Stalker - these are found pretty commonly in the kelp forests. They’re blue with greenish seaweed looking stuff coming out of the top. Check the deep cave right near life pod 6, there’s a ton in there. Spadefish - These eggs are scattered around in the safe shallows and grassy plateau caves. Check caves closely, you’re sure to find a few. The eggs look small and greenish with lighter green orbs on them. Rabbit ray - Also in safe shallows in the small caves. Sometimes they can appear blueish because of the lighting. The egg is red and transparent and has what looks like a single eyeball inside. Check any small caves that have crashfish in them. ![]() Please be aware the spawn radius on eggs on ps4 is pretty small, you’ll need to get close to the surfaces for them to spawn in at all.Ĭrashfish - Safe Shallows. SPOILERS AHEAD so if you’ve not yet completed the story you may want to do that before you read on and collect your eggs. Some eggs are easy, some are quite difficult. Well, I’m here to share my wealth of knowledge and experience about the game to help you out some. I’m seeing a lot of people asking where to find specific eggs in Subnautica.
